    KC6510 Functional Polymer for Engine Oil

    Description

    This modified polymethacrylate (PAMA) functional polymer can be used in a variety of base oils to provide the best balance of thickening function and fuel economy. It enables low-viscosity multigrade engine oils to operate over a wide range of temperatures, start the engine smoothly in the coldest weather, and provide adequate engine protection in the harshest operating conditions. This high-viscosity index functional polymer offers fuel economy, excellent viscosity-temperature properties, full engine protection at high temperatures, and excellent low-temperature performance. It is compatible with a wide range of additives and has a wide range of application prospects. This product is a solution of modified polymethacrylate (PAMA) in deeply refined mineral oil. It is mainly used for multi-grade energy-saving internal combustion engine oil, which can not only improve the viscosity index, but also reduce the pour point, and ensure excellent shear resistance and thickening function. Compared to OCP and HSD products, KC6510 functional polymer is able to effectively improve the high-temperature, high-shear and low-temperature performance of oils, and provides excellent fuel economy due to its high viscosity index. KC6510 has significant wear and noise reduction effects, making it an ideal viscosity index improver for new energy-efficient internal combustion engine oils

    Packed in iron drums, net weight of 175kg/drum, suitable for various modes of transportation.The maximum storage and transportation temperature shall not exceed 60°C in the short term and 45°C in the long term. 

    The shelf life is 2 years, stored in a dry, clean,ventilated warehouses. In case of accidental contact with the skin, wash the skin thoroughly with water and detergent.

    Recommended dose

    Add 2.0%~8.0%wt to the specified base oil. Considering the different types of base oils, pour point, viscosity and viscosity index tests are required to determine the exact amount of KC6510 functional polymer required. Engineers in the industry are still exploring special applications and additions to other oils to further tap into the product's potential.
